Privilege - Pahad - Personality
Ranga Mandira students Anjali and Ankita Ramesh set out on a journey in the month of May- June 2017 for one month in the Central Himalayas as part of an internship under Ek Potlee Ret Ki, an activist collective. To stay away from the regular city life and live amidst the calm of the hills has been a great experience for them. They have interacted with the local pahadi people, lived with them, understood their way of living and recognised the social and political scenarios of Uttarakhand. This Wednesday, the 19th of July, they would share their experiences from three perspectives; the privilege of Urbanites, elites and the educated- life in the Pahad - and how both these have transformed personalities. Come and be part of this open talk and discussion.
