- **Event Description**: You are invited to the Gloucestershire Pagans open ceremony to honour the Winter Solstice - which is on the 21st itself, and in fact the exact moment of solstice is at 3:03pm!

We will celebrate with a simple circle, open to all, and to honour the tide, and with opportunity to share our own thoughts, experiences and poetry of the season.

We will meet outside the Visitors' Centre of Crickley Hill Country Park

from about 2:45 - usually at a table close to the wall by the road - and will then proceed to the beech grove for our simple ceremony, which will be created and led by Becca.

It would be lovely if you could bring a candle lantern, or candle in a jar, and a goblet or cup to drink from.

Dress as you like, but dress for the weather - cloaks and 'witchy' attire are fine, as are straight-forward civvies. It's often muddy underfoot on the paths to the grove. There is no fee to attend, as ever - but do make sure you pay for your car-parking!
