Rainbow Lightning is an annual event hosted by South Sea Roller Derby. 
Come along to see skaters from across the state showcase their skills in a round robin event to raise funds for the LGBTQIA+ community!

*please note skaters are charged to enter Rainbow Lightning and your entry fee is donated to our local organisation.

Teams of EIGHT SKATERS play rounds of 10-MINUTE EPIC JAMS (with players subbing in and out) to score the most points and get their team to the final battle for the famed Rainbow Trophy!
 

When: Saturday, January 31st, 2026
Where: Springers Leisure Centre 
Time: Doors open 10:30am, first whistle at 11am
Tickets: $10, Under 16 Free
 
There will be delicious homemade goodies available at the world famous (*probably) SSRD Bake Sale, plus a raffle with fantastic prizes from local businesses and awesome SSRD merch.

Seating may be limited so please BYO a blanket/camp chair/cushion for maximum comfort trackside!
