Lymington on Market Day

The historic, coastal town of Lymington offers plenty for the visitor to the New Forest. This colourful and vibrant town is an ancient seaport with a rich maritime history, and with so much to see and do. Situated on the west bank of the Lymington River, on the edge of the Solent, Lymington is a major yachting centre with three marinas.

A lively market fills Lymington High Street every Saturday with stalls selling plants, food produce, general household goods, craft items and bric-a-brac.
