Derek Healy's fourth and latest collection, Children in the Window, uses traditional and free verse forms to look at a wide range of themes, including family, loss and ageing; the making of a new home; the messages to be found in prehistory; and quantum physics. At its heart is an extended sonnet sequence dedicated to his wife.
