Lafter Hours Presents their Edinburgh preview season.

Throughout July fabulous acts, from around the country, will be bringing their Edinburgh shows to preview in our cosy, 30 seat venue.

Some of the very best stand ups on the circuit will be delivering their shows. Today that's:

Burt Williamson - WIP

Burt Williamson is a stand-up comedian, improviser and comedy producer based in Bristol. He’s had two critically acclaimed runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, is the brains behind Bristol Comedy Festival and an all round funny guy. At once silly and serious, smart and stupid Burt packs dense punchlines with know-it-all smarm and goofy charm with hilarious effect. At the forefront of a new and exciting generation of comics emerging from Bristol, Burt leads the charge on a new dawn for British comedy.

He brings his work in progress show of his next Edinburgh show to Lafter Hours to try new jokes and hone old in a new and exciting comedic offering from an up and coming funnyman.

Steffan Alun - All New Standup Comedy

The Welsh optimist returns, talking about old friends, old grievances and old horror novels. All-new standup from Steffan Alun!

Steffan Alun is a comedian from Swansea, best known for his five (and counting) full runs at the Edinburgh festival, and as a writer-actor-presenter in his native Wales. The rest of the time, you can catch him gigging across the UK circuit. Nice guy. Feel free to say hi.
