On 27th November 7-9.30pm- Learn how to create faux quilted (absolutely no sewing required!) fabric baubles at Corner Coffee Co on Bath Road, Cheltenham. They are so fun to make and will be a lovely addition to your Christmas tree this year!We’ll start by cutting lines into the polystyrene balls for the fabric to tuck into, then you can browse the range of patterned and plain fabrics to build up a colour palette. I’ll have cardboard templates for you to cut around to make to perfect shape to fit the ball, then we’ll tuck in the edges into the cuts we made to form the quilted effect. Then you can choose a ribbon to hang it with. I have a whole range of fabrics and ribbons to make decorations to fit with your colour scheme and existing decor. We will aim to make at least two, hopefully three, decorations in the time. No sewing or crafting experience required at all, I’ll show you the technique and you can have a go. I’ll be on hand to help and guide you. Come alone and meet like-minded folks, or bring friends and family for a catch-up.
