# Event Details - **Event Name**: BYO Leftovers Turkey Ramen Blitz - **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 30 Nov, 2025 at 02:30 pm – Sun, 30 Nov, 2025 at 05:30 pm - **Event Description**: Freeze and save the best of your Thanksgiving leftover turkey to make delicious ramen topped with fresh, local produce!About this EventSpecial notes for BYO Leftovers Turkey Ramen Blitz:The unique aim of this workshop is to send all participants home with finished broth/stock, noodles ready to cook, and prepared toppings to assemble your ramen for four people at home. It takes at least 4-5 hours to make good stock. Using pressure cookers will shorten the cooking time to less than 2 hours. A stove-top pressure cooker that you know how to use, or an Instant Pot-type electric pressure cooker that will fit your turkey bones and several cups of water, depending on the volume of bones, is necessary to attend this workshop. To bring the following ingredients and to take home the prepared foods will require a large insulated container with ice:We will use the carcass, drippings, and a bit of meat from your Thanksgiving leftovers. If your turkey was a normal size, like 12-16 lbs, you might want to reserve most, if not all, the turkey bones. If bigger, half of the carcass may suffice.Since most folks use drippings for gravy, consider reserving half a cup. Fat is essential to a flavorful broth.About a pound of meat should be plenty. The topping will be vegetable-heavy.I will provide the noodles, vegetables, additional broth ingredients, the ingredients for a light dessert, and the cooking instructions. We will prepare ramen for everyone to enjoy as dinner during the workshop.Join hungry folks from 8 to 90, eager to cook good food made with local, seasonal ingredients in a low-key, friendly, and open kitchen at Agricole, a splendid farm stop/cafe in downtown Chelsea!
