- **Event Description**: Join us for the first forum of the academic year: we are starting with two noteworthy speakers Dr Gareth Davies and Dr Drew Welch. 

Dr Gareth Davies, Consultant in EM and PHEM; Chief Medical Officer MRMS team; Governance Lead EHAAT and previous Medical Director of LAA with nearly three decades of experience in prehospital care. Gareth will discuss "The Bleeding Trauma Patient".

Dr Drew Welch, Consultant in Anaesthetics and PHEM, with the West Suffolk Hospital and EAAA. Latterly Drew has taken on the role of Deputy Medical Director to the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust. Drew will discuss "9 Lessons from 9 years in PHEM" looking at lessons we can learn and how we can continue to improve.
