- **Event Description**: Ready for an evening of festive cheer, delicious food & drink, and spectacular entertainment? This year, we’ll be hosting our winter event on Thursday 11th December 2025 and you won't want to miss it!

From 6pm, our dedicated team will welcome you with a festive-themed cocktail and canapés before you head to our Dining Room at 7pm for a delicious three-course meal.

For those who have chosen to stay with us overnight in one of our delightful rooms, check in is from 5pm, giving you the opportunity to refresh and change into your best frock, and even explore the grounds before the festivities begin. The house will be illuminated with Christmassy glow - an ideal backdrop for a winter's night out.

The moreish menu, hand-crafted by our Head Chef, will bring you a mouth-watering selection of festive favourites that will excite your taste buds. Once you've had your fill of our festive feast, you’ll then be able to party until late, with fantastic entertainment, so ensure you have your dancing shoes packed!

Treacle Glazed Belly of Pork
Served with a Celeriac Remoulade, Crispy Black Pudding and an Apple Puree

Spiced Cauliflower Soup (ve)
Topped with Smoked Almonds, Harissa Olive Oil and Croutons

Cornish King Scallops
Served with a Curried Parsnip Velouté, Baby Watercress and Parsnip Crisps

Terrine of Chicken and Bacon
Served with a crispy Hen's Egg, Waldorf Salad and Sourdough

Mains

Braised Feather Blade of Beef
Served with a Creamy Pomme Puree, Roasted Root Vegetables and a Bloody Mary Sauce

Roasted Breast of Chicken
Served with Dauphinoise Potatoes, Sauteed Hispi Cabbage and a White Wine Jus

Pappardelle Pasta (ve)
Topped with a Rich Woodland Mushroom Ragu, Crisp Curly Kale and Vegan Parmesan

Seafood Thermidor
King Prawns, Scampi and Cod Coated in a Rich Thermidor Sauce, Topped with Breadcrumbs and Comte Cheese, sServed with Roasted New Potatoes

Served with a Rhubarb Compote

Apple and Cherry Crumble (ve)
Topped with an Oat Crumble and served with Vegan Custard

Figgy Brown Butter Tartlet
Served with Baron Bigod Brie, a Spiced Granny Smith Chutney and Essex Honey

✨Tickets, accommodation & booking✨

Tickets are now available at £75 per person and include a welcome drink, canapés and a delicious 3-course meal followed by tea & coffee. This event is for advance bookings only and we advise you to book early as spaces are limited!
