We begin with a 45-minute Bollywood dance lesson, suitable for all levels. You’ll learn expressive choreography set to vibrant music — no experience required, just energy and openness.
Then we wind down and connect over delicious Eastern cuisine, including flavour-packed biryani, in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
This isn’t just a dance class, it’s a scientifically feel-good experience.
In just one evening you’ll activate all four of your “happy hormones”:
• Dopamine – learning something new
• Oxytocin – dancing together
• Serotonin – music, movement & shared celebration
• Endorphins – that post-dance natural high

About Dhrumi
My name is Dhrumi, a resident doctor in the NHS with a strong passion for Bollywood dance and teaching. Through BollyChelms, my mission is to use dance as a way to bring the community together by creating inclusive and welcoming spaces for people from all walks of life. My goal is for everyone who attends to leave feeling happier, more confident, proud of themselves, and with a strong sense of belonging.
