AComedy Club’s back from our summer break with a fantastic show to usher in our new season. 

Our Headliner is Phil Nichol, an internationally renowned comedian, actor, writer, director and musician.

Described as a “Comedy Genius *****” by The Scotsman and “Brilliance” The Sunday Times, Phil has performed in 52 countries, toured award-winning solo shows worldwide, and filmed five comedy specials, including the Edinburgh Comedy Award–winning The Naked Racist and Nearly Gay for ITV2.

His many TV appearances include Never Mind the Buzzcocks, The Graham Norton Show, Live at the Comedy Store and The Standup Show.

We think he’s an absolute comedy superstar and that’s because he is.

Not only do we have Phil, but a sublime supporting line-up of comedy talent in the form of Nick Elleray, Abi Carter-Simpson, Stephen De Placito and another act TBC. All shambolically held together by resident MC Paul Merryck.

Hosted as always at our wonderful venue ACanteen, in the heart of Chelmsford City centre, where you can enjoy a great meal and/or a few drinks from the brilliant bar, whilst watching some of the finest comedians in the UK. 5 of them to be exact!
