St. Patrick's Dinner Train

Ride the train and celebrate Irish culture with special foods, music, drinks and a whole lot of green!

The St. Patrick’s Day dinner train leaves the depot each March and travels through the Chehalis River Valley as passengers enjoy a specially themed dinner in our dining car. Dress warm as the trains are unheated.

Did you know this American tradition dates back to the 1700’s? St. Patrick’s Day revelers thought wearing green made one invisible to leprechauns, fairy creatures who would pinch anyone they could see not wearing green. People began pinching those who didn’t wear green as a reminder that leprechauns would sneak up and pinch green-abstainers.

Please arrive 1/2 hour prior to departure. In respect to all passengers, late arrivals may not be accommodated.
