- **Event Description**: The Megawillapa is an annual self-supported group bicycle ride that encompasses as much of the Willapa Hills Trail as is currently rideable, in both directions, in one day.

It is fun, challenging, stupid, and wild, and that's why we do it every year. It's free to join, but know what you're getting into...

We ride from Mile 0 in Chehalis to the western terminus of the trail in South Bend, then we ride back to Mile 0 all in the same day. It's 113 miles of mostly gravel riding, great conversation, and beautiful scenery.

Last year we had a record 20 riders join us, and 12 finished the whole thing. This year we hope to break that record!

THIS IS IMPORTANT: All riders of all ages and all abilities are welcome, but since this is not an official trail event in any capacity, you are responsible for your own safety and well-being. Again, you are responsible for your own safety and well-being in this ride.

New trail work in Pacific County will ensure that more than 40 miles of trail are in decent to good condition and is rideable on tires as narrow as 700x32c.

You do NOT have to ride the whole thing if you don't want to! Wanna ride with us for 112 miles instead of 113? I wouldn't understand not going the extra mile for full credit, but you do you and we'll be happy to have you! Wanna ride 10 miles? Come on out!
