Welcome to the Westside Leadership Event, Leading with Story and Connection: A Leadership Experience

Get ready to come together and connect with other individuals who have experienced big life challenges as we share and utilize our stories to create an inspiring, interactive, and action-fueled day.

We will begin the day with fun swag bags, scoping out resources and the free library, an opportunity to get to know one another, and ponder who we are and what we believe about leadership. Through interactive storytelling and engaging activities, we will connect with our stories and how they have defined each of us as leaders in different ways. Leadership is about looking in, not up, to create change.

We are privileged to have Gene Tagaban, "One Crazy Raven," ( http://www.storytellingraven.com/) as a speaker and teller of stories, sharing space with us and supporting participants as they connect with their lived experience. Together, we will explore our stories and learn how to use them as tools to create change in our communities and the world.

Swag bags will be provided to all attendees, and there will be exciting opportunities to win handmade prizes that support local artists, businesses, peers, and Tribes.

A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
