Fancy a trail run that’s more about enjoying the journey than chasing a pace? Come and explore the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands with us — expect scenery, stories, a few ups and downs, and possibly muddy shoes (badge of honour ?).

We’ll meet at Frognall Wharf Car Park and head out with a steady uphill to warm the legs on the Staffordshire Moorlands Walk. From there it’s a lovely mix of countryside, forest paths and quiet villages, climbing to our highest point where, on a clear day, we’ll spot Shutlingsloe and The Cloud waving at us from the distance.

This is an 8-mile trail run at your own pace.

It’s a SHORTY rule run — we stick together, support each other and enjoy it. Walk the hills, run the flats, stop for views… it all counts.

Right next to the car park is "Hetty’s Tea Shop" — highly recommended. Homemade soup, plenty of tasty choices, and the perfect reward after your run.
