Tales for Tails! – Read to a Dog at the Library!

Kids can make enormous strides in building self esteem and confidence while acquiring a love of reading to a therapy dog. Reading to a therapy dog in a calm and relaxing atmosphere helps improve children’s reading, communication, and social skills. Reggie is a sweet therapy dog who along with his owner Miss Martin loves to listen to stories. Sign up to meet our furry friend, read him a short story from our collection or yours, and soak up all of his peaceful doggie vibes. Reading sessions last 15 minutes per child. Registration is required. Please call 315-649-5454 to reserve a session. Upcoming sessions: November 8th & December 13th.
Sessions begin at 11:15.
