About the teacher:
Umbel Gardens is proud to be a women owned business. Owner, Katie Hinson, is a certified Landscape Horticulturist, a Northwest Flower and Garden Show Gold Metal Garden Creator, and a certified Hamilton County Master Gardener. The goal of Umbel Gardens is to inspire and educate Chattanoogans to grow fresh produce in their own backyards by designing and teaching clients how to care for their raised bed kitchen gardens. Growing organically and eating seasonally has a positive impact on mental health, the environment, and community. Katie is passionate about connecting people with the land, food and would love to help you start snacking straight off the vine!
