We will go over materials, how to make cording, and variations on basket shapes. Then we will create our basket using a coiling technique and hand stitching. No experience is required.All materials are included, but students can bring any fabric, yarn or thread materials from home to include in their baskets for a personal touch.PLEASE NOTE: Students will complete a small bowl basket project in this class and learn the skills necessary to create larger baskets.About the teacher:Lauren O'Neill is a school librarian by day and an artist by weekend.
