Programme & Project Lead: Michi Masumi (Award-winning Fine Art Portrait Photographer) This year’s theme is Unapologetically Black — bold, honest, creative and open to your interpretation. Your work can explore identity, joy, resistance, heritage, futurism, community, family, culture, or anything rooted in your lived experience. All styles are welcome: Photo art • Fine art photography • Journalism • Documentary • Drama • Experimental • Street • Portraiture • Visual essays This is a family‑friendly exhibition celebrating Black creativity, heritage and community across MedwayArtBox and The Halpern Gallery. Creative Guidelines Photography submissions only: https://lnkd.in/eP_inP5i No AI photography permitted. All photographs must be framed and ready to hang. Frame exhibition photographs on-site (The Halpern Gallery) on the morning of 30th September. End-of-exhibition collection from 1 pm to 5 pm on Wednesday 28th (late collection may incur storage fees) Artworks sent via post are welcome, but we take no responsibility for postage; delivery and collection will still be required as above. Film & Video AI‑involved films and videos are welcome — but must be clearly labelled using one of the following creator‑defined categories: AI‑Generated AI‑Assisted AI‑Hybrid AI‑Only Post‑Production Each submission must include a summary explaining: Where AI was used in the process Why you chose to use AI The type of AI used (e.g., generative visuals, motion tools, sound design, editing tools) This ensures transparency, authorship, agency and respect for creative labour.
