The charities chosen for support this year are, Breast Cancer Now and The Sapper Charity.Key InformationFormatA 20-minute practice & qualifying session is followed by a non-stop 2-hour race, featuring a LeMans Style start, driver changes & fuel stops.Random TeamsBook as an individual........ but race as a team! This event features a randomised team allocation, with the draw being shown live on Facebook before the event. This all adds to the fun nature of the event - You cannot take this one seriously!Participant RestrictionsThe minimum age to take part is 16 (16 & 17 year-olds must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 plus). The minimum height to safely operate our karts is 5ft.Raising MoneyPlease don't arrive without your wallet, you will need it during the event. As a team you will be able to:Bid for your grid position at the start of the raceBuy raffle tickets with some awesome prizes on offerTake advantage of special offers during the event, like buying more laps, taking laps aways from other teams, or even paying to have your rivals black flagged!Plus lot's more.Fancy DressCheck out the Race For Others Facebook page to get an idea of what you should be wearing! It doesn't really matter, as long as it is fun and family friendly. The theme of this year is either Green or Pink, and a special inflatable costume running race!BreakfastWe know it's an early start for a weekend, so breakfast is included in your entry fee.Duration & TimingsThe total time at the circuit is approximately 4 hrs from your arrival to departure.ARRIVAL / SIGN ON: 8:30BRIEFING: 9:30PRACTICE: 10:30RACE: 11:00PRESENTATION: 13:15SpectatorsSpectators are welcome. We have a state-of-the-art clubhouse facility featuring a Café serving hot and cold food, and an upper tier balcony which provides a dynamic view of the whole circuit.CafeteriaThe cafe will be open during the session for the purchase of hot and cold refreshments.Dress CodeAlthough it is fancy dress, you will still need to be dressed appropriately on circuit. Please bring comfortable clothing and suitable footwear, preferably trainers or similar flat shoes. All the safety equipment necessary will be provided. As there is a chance of you getting wet as part of this event it is recommended to bring a change of clothes with you.WeatherWe operate in all weathers so please check the weather forecast before you travel and pack a change of clothes if rain looks likely. Only in the most extreme weather conditions (i.e. ice or snow) will there be a possibility of your session being postponed or cancelled.
