This hands-on educational program will serve 4-H and FFA youth ages 5–19 from across the region, focusing on enhancing skills in showmanship, animal care, and agricultural leadership. The clinic will include species-specific workshops (beef cattle, sheep, goats, and hogs) led by experienced instructors, industry professionals, and Extension Agents.
*All youth must be actively enrolled in 4-H or FFA.
*All youth ages 5-8 MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
*Youth are encouraged to bring halter broke livestock to actively learn with. All livestock are to be 'Shown' or 'maintained' on their trailer. No pens will be available. Youth are NOT required to bring livestock to the Showmanship Clinic, just encouraged.
*Youth will have the opportunity to learn, explore and dive deeper into the specific techniques of showmanship for a maximum of 2 species.
