CVIHA has always prided itself on closing out the Irish season with our parade. In 2026, we’re shaking things up! The United Irish Societies of Montreal will be hosting their St. Patrick’s Day parade on March 22nd 2026, in order to ensure participants’ safety as there is a large police demonstration planned in the city-centre on March 15th. We thank them for their continued perseverance in finding ways to celebrate Montreal’s rich Irish culture, while prioritizing the safety and security of everyone involved.
We at CVIHA saw that parade-less St. Patrick’s Day weekend and have decided to step in and give people an opportunity to kick off the season with us! We are very excited to announce that for one year only, CVIHA will be kicking off the St. Patrick’s Day festivities with their parade on Saturday March 14th 2026!
