This trip is for all ages, for adults and families. It is an opportunity to spend time reflecting on faith and how that is lived out in God’s world.
Date: Sunday, June 21st – Wednesday, June 24th
Estimated Cost: $125 (2 ½ days of service)
Food, lodging and transportation is not included in this cost and will be worked out by participants during our pre-trip meetings.
A little about Minneapolis:
• Minneapolis is the site of the 2027 ELCA Youth Gathering.
• The Twin Cities is home base for Service Learning Camps.
• The Twin Cities are situated on the Mississippi River which winds and between them, is joined by the Minnesota River and eventually bends Southward from here headed for the Gulf of Mexico.
• Hunger & houselessness are significant issues in the Twin Cities
• It is the home to the Twins baseball team & the Minnesota Vikings Football.

Options of what we will be doing:
●Global Health Ministries collects donated hospital supplies and distributes them to countries who need them all around the world.
●Loaves and Fishes runs over 30 hunger sites around the Twin Cities providing thousands of meals each day for those who deal with food insecurity.
●Groups also serve at agencies such as the Salvation Army, Friends of the Mississippi, and the Boys/Girls Clubs, Second Harvest Heartland and Minneapolis Crisis Nursery
The unique thing about this trip is that anyone can come! It is truly for all ages. You can sign up on your own as a young adult of 18 or you can bring your grandchildren or go just with your spouse or a friend. All are options.

• Filling out & signing our Middle / Coon Valley Trip Agreement Form
• Make a deposit of $50 per individual / $100 per family
This will guarantee you a spot – need a minimum of 8 people by March 15.
