Hrothgar calls for aid from heroes far and wide to rid his lands of a hatred born in old times. Ancient enemies stir once more beyond the marshes and forests, bringing fear, bloodshed, and ruin in their wake. With his warriors failing and the darkness growing stronger, only bold souls may stand against the curse before it consumes the realm.

What is Folksmoot?
Folksmoot is a Viking-inspired LARP where you don't just play a warrior- you live as part of a Norse community. Spend the weekend feasting, telling stories around the fire, testing your skill in traditional Viking games, and building friendships with your fellow clansmen.
Life at Folksmoot is as much about community as it is about combat. Whether you're a farmer, skald, crafter, shieldmaiden, trader, or raider, everyone has a place in the village. Share meals, compete in contests of strength and wit, settle disputes at the moot, and prepare together for the challenges ahead.
While the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, danger is never far away. When the horn sounds, heroes are called to defend their people, embark on daring raids, or face the monsters and legends of the North.
