The nearly 1000-reference selection eschews viticultural labels, instead encouraging exploration and enjoyment across a broad range of styles.The menu combines regional Chinese fare with dishes rooted in the familial memories of restaurateur Annie Shi and chef Patty Lee. Specifically tailored to complement wine of all kinds, dishes include snacks such as sesame shao bing flatbread as well as heartier fare such as a sweet and sour beef short rib.Since opening in 2025, the wine bar was named the 2026 James Beard Best New Restaurant winner and received a glowing two star review from The New York Times. Shi was recognized with the Michelin Guide Northeast Cities 2025 Sommelier Award.Expect a wine and food menu that celebrates the season, with Lee and Turner's poetic touch. Working ideas include fire-grilled Taiwanese three cup chicken, eggplants braised in the style of Xinjiang, refreshing and surprising chicory salads, and stone fruit puddings.
