This delicious sweet dough is a peculiar kind of almond paste widely used during Christmas and Easter time, to accompany the perfect Italian festivity.
Martorana desserts are not everyday sweets, but little pieces of art. Small-scale edible sculptures that have become a true way of storytelling the cuisine tradition in some regions of Italy, showing the local, ancient culture.
In this course Vinnie from pane & self-love will guide you through the magic of dessert creation, making the perfect Martorana dough to shape as you like. Most famous shapes include fruit and animals — the choice will be left up to you: an occasion to showcase your artistic talent in the kitchen!
