Got Blues Matinee & Jam with Jon Hines from Cape Breton NS

Got Blues Matinee & Jam is hosted by Got Blues (Chris Roumbanis and friends Mike Robicheau & Alan Dowling). Running every Saturday September to June since 2009. The 1st set features a special guest each show. The 2nd set is always an electric blues jam (just show up and put your name on the list).

Jon Hines is a Cape Breton based, Canadian blues musician who has received national and international radio play across Canada, UK, and the United States of America. Fresh off a two month Australian tour. Two time winner of the East Coast Blues Society, “Maritime to Memphis” blues challenge. Where he represented Atlantic Canada in Memphis Tennessee during the IBCs (international blues challenge). Placing as a semi finalist in 2025 band category in IBCs. Blues recording artist of the year award recipient for Music Nova Scotia. Two time ECMA nominated artist, blues recording of the year. Fresh out of the studio for first band recording, new album to be released later in 2025. Trio has been sharing stages at local clubs and festivals throughout the maritimes. Featuring swampy gritty guitar infused with haunting vocals and story telling.
