BATTLE TALES ELEVEN FINALE is here, and we want our writing community members to come together to celebrate it!

Join the PEI Writers' Guild on Thursday, June 18th at The Gallery Coffee House & Bistro (our Battle Tales OFFICIAL SPONSOR!), as we celebrate five writers who dared to wield their words, and in the eyes of this year’s guest judge, did so beautifully.

This year's guest judge and 2025 Battle Tales Champion, Jennifer Platts-Fanning, put it this way:

"Battle Tales is a grassroots literary event in the truest sense, born from local creativity, driven by storytellers, sustained by community. Writers answer the call to create something that never was and now is, building worlds, shaping voices, exploring ideas brought to life in just one week. That is true art." 

Without further ado, we're thrilled to present the 5 writers (and their stories) selected as Battle Tales Eleven FINALISTS!

The evening will feature these five finalists reading excerpts from their stories, followed by the moment everyone's been waiting for: the announcement of the Battle Tales Eleven Champion!
