Tickets are available on Bookmark’s website: bookmarkreadsdotca The award-winning, bestselling author of Station Eleven and Sea of Tranquility returns with a breathtaking novel of doubles, shadow worlds, and fractured timelines. Emily St. John Mandel unfurls a story that takes us from a future America splintered by civil war to the seaside cliffs of Greece where weapons dealers hide in an elegant resort, and from the domed city of Paris to a colony on the moon. An unforgettable literary feat, Exit Party is a novel about the price of safety, the perils of the surveillance state, a requiem for a world not unlike our own, and a breathtaking story of resilience in the face of cataclysmic change. EMILY ST. JOHN MANDEL is the author of six previous novels, including Sea of Tranquility, The Glass Hotel, which was shortlisted for the Giller Prize, and Station Eleven, which was a finalist for a National Book Award and was included in the New York Times Best 100 Books of the 21st Century list. Her work has been translated into thirty-seven languages and adapted for television, including the Station Eleven series and the recently announced Exit Party series, which Emily will be a co-showrunner. CAITLYN PAXSON is the author of A Widow’s Charm. She has a degree in writing and cultural history and has been employed as the artistic director of storytelling performances, a book reviewer, and a nineteenth century jack-of-all-trades. She works as a historical interpreter for the PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation. You might know her from programs like The Haunting of Yeo House, The Beaconsfield Seance, In the Time of Maud at Orwell Corner Historic Village, and other immersive historic programs. - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/charlottetown/an-evening-with-emily-st-john-mandel/200030562013546 - **Event Categories**: art, literary-art, parties, entertainment, virtual, storytelling - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 30 ## Ticket Details ## Event venue details - **city**: Charlottetown - **state**: PE - **country**: Canada - **location**: Florence Simmons Performance Hall - **lat**: 46.23909226741 - **long**: -63.12198688917 - **full address**: Florence Simmons Performance Hall, 280 Kent St, Charlottetown, PE C1A, Canada ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: An Evening with Emily St John Mandel - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events1/banners/45206d6fad6945aa0914c87a503e5d613b06dc2897e07f9636f2c9d2f2c8f154-rimg-w1200-h628-dcf8f8f8-gmir?v=1788437195 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is An Evening with Emily St John Mandel being held? - **A:** An Evening with Emily St John Mandel takes place on Thu, 22 Oct, 2026 at 07:00 pm to Thu, 22 Oct, 2026 at 07:00 pm at Florence Simmons Performance Hall, 280 Kent St, Charlottetown, PE C1A, Canada. - **Q**: Who is organizing An Evening with Emily St John Mandel ? - **A:** An Evening with Emily St John Mandel is organized by Bookmark. - **Q**: What has been the experience of attendees at Bookmark's events? - **A:** Attendees have given Bookmark a rating of 5/5 based on reviews from early attendees on AllEvents.
