- **Event Description**: For the month of June, in addition to our weekly Swing 101 classes, we will be offering an intermediate level lesson series focused on follow technique! We'll cover classic follow styling and refine our connection with our partners for more conversational dancing. Come join in on the fun!

June 4th: 101 & Focus on Follows
June 11th: 101 & Focus on Follows
June 18th:: 101 & Focus on Follows
June 25th: 101 & Focus on Follows

No partner or previous dance experience is required for any of our classes! We hold our beginner lesson at the Front Porch (221 E Water St, Charlottesville, VA 22902) and our lesson series will be held in the dance space above Jack Brown's.

6:45-7:00pm -- Check-in at the front desk AT the FRONT PORCH
7:00-8:00pm -- Swing 101 Lesson at the FRONT PORCH OR lesson series at the ALTERNATIVE DANCE SPACE
8:00-9:00pm -- Social dance at the FRONT PORCH, practice your new moves, mix and mingle.

Price is $10 at the door each night. Credit card payment strongly preferred.

***Masks are optional at SwingCville events, and we will no longer require vaccinations as of August 1, 2023. We are so happy to be a community that is supportive of different dancers' preferences and will always support folks who still want to wear masks while dancing.
