The exhibition celebrates the beauty and diversity of the natural world and the creativity inspired by the Piedmont landscape. 🌳 Second Floor North Gallery Maryanna Williams The Hieroglyphics of Trees Williams draws imagery from her immersion in nature and an interest in the relationship between simple forms and intricate patterns. Working in reduction linocut, rice paper, watercolor and sculpture, her images move between realism and abstraction, transforming subjects from nature through color, pattern and mark. 📷 Second Floor South Gallery Scott F. Smith Wanderous Wanderous explores the pleasure of moving through the world without a fixed destination—guided instead by curiosity, attention and discovery.
