Poetry Tea Time Workshop (ages 8-12)

Up to 10 youth poets/aspiring poets are welcome to join this collaborative time for inspiration, creation, and affirmations in the garden. We’ll gather for a lesson on poetics, then meander as a group through the garden space collecting details for original pieces of writing. There will be tea and fruit for everyone to enjoy while we compose, and then a chance to share and offer appreciative feedback. Everyone will leave with a brand new poem and ideas on how to establish a nature-writing practice at home. Registration required.
