This class focuses on precision glass inlay, allowing you to create a finished piece without working with solder or flux. Instead of copper foil and solder, you will use a pre-cut wooden frame designed to hold your glass securely in place. This is a simplified stained glass method that focuses on cutting, grinding, and precise fitting. If you are interested in learning traditional stained glass techniques that include soldering, please explore the wonderful stained glass classes taught by Kenna.What to Wear:● Please wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty● YOU MUST wear closed-toe shoes, tie back long hair, and wear glasses or safetyglasses. Safety glasses are provided● If you wear readers, please remember to bring themRequirements:● This class is open to ages 12 and up; however, minors must be accompanied by an adult who has also purchased a ticket for the class.● Please arrive on time.● Wear closed-toe shoes and tie long hair back.● Safety glasses are provided, but feel free to bring your own.Refund Policy:● Transfers to another class follow the same refund rules as your original date.● 14+ days before the first class: Full refund.● 7–13 days before the first class: Refund minus a 50% administrative fee.● Fewer than 7 days before the first class: No refunds.● Seat transfer: If you find a replacement who pays for and takes your seat before the first class begins, you are eligible for a full refund.To cancel or request a transfer, please email steve@makerspacecharlotte.org.
