Weather you've never used a wheel before or you're looking to refine your throwing techniques, this class will meet you where you are.Beginners will learn how to center clay and create functional piecs like mugs, bowls, plates, etc. Intermediate students can dive into more complex forms and personlaized projects. We'll also cover trimming, decorating, and glazing techniques so you can finish your pieces beautifully.Many students take this class more than once, using each session to build new skills and expand their creativity. As a full-time potter, Hope brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to each class. Hope holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UNC Charlotte where she concentrated in Ceramics, and has enriched her craft through classes at the renowned Penland School of Craft, where she has volunteered at the auction annually.
