Christmas trees are lighting up Thanksgiving weekend at First Congregational Church on the southwest corner of Bostwick and Lawrence. Come see the creativity of our community groups, organizations, and individuals, come together to welcome the holiday season while raising money for a good cause! Attendance is FREE.
Friday, Nov. 28, 5 pm to 8 pm, Day 1 - In Person
Saturday, Nov. 29, 9 am to 5 pm, Day 2 - In Person
The church will once more host Charlotte’s Annual Festival of Trees, a fun fundraiser to raise money for children’s winter boots which will be disbursed by Eaton Furniture and Clothing Center.
The Fundraiser component is the Online Auction, which starts and Thanksgiving Day and ends at Noon on Sunday, November 30. Information and auction site can be found at www.uccCharlotte.org/festival-of-trees
This is YEAR 14 for this event - a very important part of the festivities in Charlotte, which includes the annual Christmas parade at 6 pm followed by annual lighting of the Christmas tree on the Courthouse museum lawn (just across the street)!
