You’ll learn to be a compelling scene partner, develop emotional authenticity, and offer meaningful “gifts” that elevate your scenes. Ideal for actors and improvisers with at least one year of acting or improv training and are seeking to advance their craft. About Karla: Karla Dingle, a lifelong theater artist with a B.A. in Theater from the University of Georgia, has been performing and teaching improv since 2009. Based in Charlotte, NC, she is Education Director at Queen City Comedy, Improv Director at a local studio, and performs with multiple ensembles including Now Are the Foxes. Karla has taught students across six continents, led workshops at international festivals, and was a 2023 Theater IDA Artist-in-Residence in Zurich. In 2025, she joined The Improv Boost’s Sudden Impact program as an international instructor. Her students have booked work with Apple TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and more.
