25th Anniversary Greater Charlotte Heart Walk
What were you doing 25 years ago? Join us on a journey back in time as we celebrate 25 years of Heart Walk and the work of the American Heart Association in our community. Our national Healthy For Good movement has rallied millions of
Americans to live healthier lives, inspired a lasting change, and unified people around the simple idea that making a small change today can create a difference for generations to come. Through the four pillars—Eat Smart. Add Color. Move More. Be Well.—we can give corporate America tangible tools to help prevent heart disease and stroke, the No. 1 and No. 5 killers of all Americans.
The cornerstone of Healthy For Good is the Greater Charlotte Heart
Walk, where participants leave the day equipped with the
knowledge to make a lifestyle change. The 3 mile walk is a culmination of the year’s work for company and community teams in the area, and the day includes fun and interactive physical activities, survivor area, health screenings, kids zone, and refreshments.
Join us September 21, 2019 near First Ward Park for this annual tradition in the Queen City!
