Join us for this unusual and timely play, written over a hundred years ago...or is the story that will be told in fifty years time?
On the island of Rossum's Universal Robots, Helena Glory arrives to help the robots gain more humane treatment....but is that what they want or need? Do they have souls? What happens when they replace the need for human workers? Harry Domin and the scientists of R.U.R. have no fear of their control and command and visualize the Utopian society that they are creating for mankind. But what happens when science goes too far?
Join us for a casual evening of a local cast of talented actors reading the play on stage aloud and enjoy a little sci fi thriller for a spooky time of year. Donation is suggested at $4 and all proceed benefit the theater's upcoming productions.
