The Summer Solstice is a time to reconnect with each other and nature as the sun rises to the highest point in the sky. Join us to celebrate summer and community in this family friendly yoga event. Guests will enjoy a pre-yoga performance by AcroCharlestonSC and a post-yoga live music jam by reggae sensation, Mystic Vibrations.

Early registration is $30 per person, ages 13 & up. Registration increases to $35 on the day of the event. If space is still available, on-site registration will be offered. 

Admission includes a yoga class, an adult beverage, a kids’ food item, and a commemorative shirt with pre-registration. Shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations received by June 4; after that date, shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. 

Groups of 10 or more can receive a 20% discount when registering in advance—tickets must be purchased together, with the discount applied at checkout.

Kids 12 and under are free and do not need to register, and participants ages 15 and under must be accompanied by a registered and paid chaperone. 

Pets are not allowed, and a valid ID is required for alcohol service. Food will be available for purchase, and a rain date is scheduled for Thursday, June 25.

5:30 PM:  Gates open for early access to our wellness village and prize drawings.

5:45 - 6:15 PM: Community Collaborative Pop-Up Event - Come mingle and move with our local wellness vendors before the main event!

Teachers

Kelly George

Kelly, the founder of Still Soul Studio and stillspace Charleston, is a Charleston business executive and mom who found her life shifted when she began a yoga and meditation practice. Kelly studied meditation with Deepak Chopra and is a certified meditation teacher with the Chopra Center for Well-Being in California. Having practiced meditation at studios in Los Angeles and New York, Kelly was inspired to bring the concept to Charleston with Still Soul Studio, a welcoming space located in the heart of Downtown Charleston for meditators of all levels. For more than 20 years, Kelly has dedicated her work and passion to helping individuals and organizations identify and achieve their goals for personal and professional excellence. She holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology along with an Ed.M in IO Psychology from Columbia University in the City of New York.



Tashi Marshall

A Massachusetts native, Tashi moved to South Carolina in 2017. She holds a 200 hour registered yoga teacher training certification and has been teaching yoga consistently throughout the Charleston area for 3 years. With a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, activism and accessibility play a big role in what Yoga means to her. Authenticity also fuels her yoga practice, both as a student and a teacher alike. She shares and celebrates her humanness in hopes that you will find comfort in your own. Off the mat, you can find her training on aerial silks or snuggled up on the couch watching Survivor.
