Join us on Wednesday, June 17 for a book signing with Tracey Booth Owens honoring her father, the iconic Charleston artist Jim Booth, beloved for his body of work depicting the marshes, lighthouses, and shorelines of the South Carolina Lowcountry.

In Beacon of the Lowcountry, a collection Tracey compiled in collaboration with her father, readers are invited behind the canvas to discover the man, the vision, and the stories that shaped his art. A flip through the pages reveals never-before-seen letters, photographs, and personal reflections that speak to the heart and mind of one of the Lowcountry's most celebrated artists.

From 5:30 - 7:30 pm, Tracey will be with us in the bookstore signing and personalizing copies of Beacon of the Lowcountry. She'll also be bringing original pieces of Jim Booth's artwork to share as we reflect on the stories from the book and her father's legacy- as an artist, a visionary, and a dad. 

A personalized copy of this beautifully illustrated coffee table book would make a fantastic Father's Day surprise for the father in your life or bring a dad with you to the event to get his copy signed in person. Beacon of the Lowcountry is also a great peice to add to the collection of any artists or Charleston locals in your life.
