The Spirit Life Fellowship Street Ministry Team will be Hitting the Streets of Charleston on Saturday December 20th 2025 @ 10:00 AM for "Operation Rescue 2025".
"Operation Rescue 2025" - Our goal is to fill at least 50 bags / backpacks with pillows and blankets along with some hygiene products to hand out on the streets of Charleston.
We also have plans to hand out nonperishsble food items to those in need.
We are asking and would like to get as many other ministries or individuals in the area involved with our mission of reaching out and helping alleviate the hunger and provide the much needed care to our homeless brothers and sisters.
On Saturday December 20th 2025 - "Operation Rescue 2025" .
We will also assist and pray with at least 50 individuals and families helping them getting back on track with God.
We will also have a list of places we can take individuals to on the spot for treatment or assistance if needed.
Items that are in dire need: Socks - Backpacks - Pillows - Blankets
Hygiene Products such as
Basic hygiene kits
Oral care: Toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss.
Personal cleaning: Soap or body wash, shampoo, and deodorant.
Grooming: Comb or hairbrush and nail clippers.
Skin care: Lotion, moisturizer, and lip balm.
Other essentials: Wet wipes and a new washcloth.
Specialized items
For women: Menstrual products like tampons and sanitary napkins.
For men: Razors and shaving cream.
For children: Kid-friendly toothpaste and baby powder.
For dry skin: Skin cream or zinc oxide cream.
For health: Band-aids, hand sanitizer, and anti-bacterial soap.
Tips for assembling kits
Use a reusable bag: A gallon-sized ziploc bag or a reusable zippered pouch is useful for keeping items organized.
Consider travel sizes: Smaller items are often easier to pack and carry.
Include socks: Warm socks are highly valued by people experiencing homelessness.
Include personal care items: Sunscreen and hand lotion can be helpful for those exposed to the elements.
