Next Steps: A Discussion About Criminal Justice

 Join us in Charleston on Sat., March 23rd, for an interactive day of discussion about Criminal Justice Reform and how to build on the First Step Act. Three morning forum sessions ( 9AM-12PM) will focus on 1.) Policing.                2.) Institutions: Prisons, Jails, Courts. 3.) Application of the Law: Affects on Families aand Communities.        Subject matter experts will present on the topics and answer your questions. An afternoon Town Hall (1:30PM-3:30PM) will feature Criminal Justice experts and 2020 Presidential candidates. Both of these sessions are FREE! Lunches may be ordered for $20.

Charleston Mayor, John Tecklenburg and Police Chief, Luther T. Reynolds are confirmed speakers. Others will be announced soon.  Check back for updates. This conference takes place at the International Longshoremen’s Hall Local 1422, 1142 Morrison Dr., Charleston, SC, 29403.
