Lender Matchmaking Event
Own a small business or looking to start one? In need of capital? Join us for an opportunity to meet face-to-face with up to 10 SBA lenders in one afternoon!
In partnership with the Small Business Administration (SBA), the City of Charleston Business & Neighborhood Services Division will host a Lender Matchmaking event on Friday, March 29. This event’s goal is to assist “lender ready” entrepreneurs and businesses in connecting with an SBA lender and ultimately obtaining financing. This will be the culmination of the Lender Readiness series, which also included a business plan review and 'lender ready" workshop.
Lenders will meet 1 on 1 with business owners in prescheduled appointments, giving the businesses the opportunity to pitch their request to multiple lenders. Businesses are encouraged to bring copies of their business plan/financial statements to share with lenders. There is no fee for the lenders or participants. SCORE and SBDC will be present to provide technical assistance to businesses.
