- **Event Description**: Join us for a springtime bird walk in Hampton Park— all birding levels welcome to join to spot some feathered friends!About this EventApril Bird Walk in Hampton ParkJoin us for a fun day of bird watching this April along the beautiful tree-lined paths of Hampton Park. Whether you're a seasoned birder or just curious, come join our Feminist Bird Club Charleston Chapter community!We will plan to meet at the Historic Gazebo (near the Cleveland Street entrance to the park). PLEASE NOTE: The park is closed to vehicular traffic from 8am-12pm on Saturdays, so the parking lots will not be accessible. There is free parking on the streets surrounding the park.During this event we will plan to walk a total of approximately two miles over two hours. As always, this is our current plan but we are happy to adjust to best support our participants' abilities.After the event, if anyone is interested, we'll convene for an optional social at Sightsee Coffee, which is nearby. They have a nice outdoor patio and good vibes.Bring your binoculars, dress comfortably for the weather, and get ready to enjoy the wonderful world of birding with fellow bird enthusiasts. These are located along the Mary Murray drive of the park, and are clean and well-maintained.Paths throughout the park are ADA.
