- **Event Description**: The 2026 annual WVEDC Legislative Conference is taking place January 20-21, 2026. It includes educational sessions covering relevant economic development topics facing economic developers practicing in the State of West Virginia.  Over 200 economic and community development professionals, regional, state, and local officials attend each year.  The WVEDC Legislative Conference offers plenary, concurrent sessions, special topic presentations, and networking events.  Conference participants can earn 8 LED credit hours for attending both the 2026 Legislative Conference and the 2026 Annual Fall Conference. There will be a Legislative Reception our opening evening, January 20th from 6-8pm, so make sure to invite your legislators. 

Please register before December 29, 2025 to avoid a $50 late fee. Registration will close on January 12, 2026.

WVEDC has negotiated a special rate of $154 a night at the Embassy Suites for the conference.  Please note, the special rate for the Embassy Suites will expire on December 30, 2025.
