- **Event Description**: The third degree of Reiki is perhaps the most inspiring part of this healing system. In this degree, you dive deeper into your own healing process at a spiritual and karmic level.  You will receive an attunement/initiation to this level, which will expand your capacity to channel Reiki energy and increase your sense of connection and overall sensitivity to the world around you.   This process brings you closer to your authentic Self, and may help to reconnect you with parts of yourself that have felt lost or distant.
 
In level three, you will begin to hold and manipulate the energy more willfully, and direct it to more times and places. You will also learn the sacred ritual of passing attunements and sharing the wisdom of Reiki with others.  In The Taproot School of Reiki, we do not separate the Master practitioner and Master teacher levels, as some schools do.  Our process of attuning and training Masters is a blend of traditional and non- traditional approaches. As is the case with offering treatments to others, it is entirely up to you whether or not you choose to attune or teach others.  The third-degree energy and teachings are valuable for self-healing and self- realization, and you may not feel called to share this practice. 
 
In the third degree of Reiki the focus is on:
 Spiritual and karmic healing
 Understanding what it means to be a Reiki Master
 Exercises to increase the flow of energy through the body and strengthen your container.
 Learning 2 more symbols and how to work with them
 Learning to pass attunements for healing as well as for empowerment and initiation
 Teaching Reiki
 Meridian line work
 Using crystals in treatments
