Kindness to ourselves + Kindness to others = A kinder world

Project: Kindness aligns self-care and service opportunities with adults who want to contribute to making a kinder world - while NPowering people with developmental disabilities (DD) to put themselves on the giving end of service. 

Bring your sewing machine, supplies, lunch and beverage. We also need help cutting and ironing fabric. We ask Sew4Service volunteers to arrive by 10am so we can be set up and ready when the NPower adults arrive at 10:30. They will be picked up around 1:30, after which we will clean up and leave by 2pm.

Each volunteer using a sewing machine will be partnered with an NPower adult who will help turn placemats inside out, carry placemats to the ironing station, and select fabrics for each side of the reversible placemats. The focus is on providing a positive experience for everyone, working together, spreading kindness and helping others.
