Spend a half term day, in the dappled willow woodland by the shimmering reservoir, when we'll be learning about tree fairy folklore, exploring the lives of bark-dwelling bugs, putting on our brave shoes for a bit of tool use, to make a picture frame from the forest! Once done, we'll use leaves, mud, charcoal.... all sorts really, to create a stunning nature-based art piece to take away with you.

Important information: Children's event, aimed at 5- 10 year olds. £6.50 per child booked. Booking essential: Go to the discoverwildsomerset webpage. Meeting point: Oaklands Carpark, Chard, TA20 1HU. Event runs from 12:30-15:00, but please arrive 10 minutes early, at 12:20. Adult supervision essential.
