Inspired by the groundbreaking work of the Equal Justice Initiative, we aim to create a space for meaningful dialogue among community leaders, scholars, students, and national experts. Our goal is to honor the memories of those lost to lynching, foster collaboration, and build a statewide network committed to truth and reconciliation. We believe that by coming together, we can spark crucial conversations and inspire action towards forming new coalitions across the state.This program is supported in part by North Carolina Humanities, the state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, www.nchumanities.org.
